I like how pretty the town of Kinsale is. Now I understand why people from Cork city would be coming here to spend the weekend. It really isn’t far away so it has become a favorite for locals. I like how the old town has been preserved. Like a lot of Irish towns and villages, Kinsale has an old square. The square in Kinsale is surrounded by various establishments, notably, restaurants. I can imagine the allure of eating al fresco in this kind of place. And at the moment, that’s the only way you can eat here. It wanted time for dinner yet but some of the shops here were serving food. They usually serve bar food here like burgers and the like. People would buy them and them and eat at the square.
The square seems to be one that is frequented by people since there were quite a few of them just hanging around here. There were seats here for people who do just that. Some of would have food and I imagine there would be drinks here when the sun goes down. I won’t be here when the night comes but I imagine it can be quite a lively place as I have seen in other old town squares. Going around the square, I can see that not all of them are open but I can also see that people are already making preparations to reopen. The government has laid out a schedule for reopening of these establishments, hopefully it would push through this time. At this point, my luck started to change, as the weather started to cooperate. The sun started to shine through so I thought it would be best to start going around town in earnest.
