Another year, another lockdown. Looking at this blog you may think that I would be going all over the place all the time. However reality is much different. It has been several months since the pandemic travel restrictions were reimposed because of the resurgence of the virus and this was the first time that they were lifted again. Once again, travel is only limited to within the county. Being sick of staying at home, I decided to head out to the Dunfanaghy area and see where the road would take me.
One of the places which I rediscovered was the viewpoint for Horn Head. Horn Head is one of the very first places I visited when I first came over to Ireland. It was my very first exposure to the cliff side scenery that is apparently plentiful in Ireland. I like what I saw but I didn’t know that there was another spot where you can see the whole place. I only found out the previous year when I was going around here. I caught a glimpse of a car on the opposite side and thought that there has to be a viewpoint there. I just went there and parked the car. There weren’t any tourists since travel is only limited to within the county, so I just stayed that for a while, just admiring the scenery.
