I had very little idea what to expect at Saint John’s Point. I decided not to look at photos of the place because coming here. Sometimes it is nice to do this so you still get that sense of wonder when you get there. I would like to think that this adds a lot of joy to traveling. Compare this to when you know exactly what to see here. At lot of times people would just end up visiting the “important” spots and forget about the rest. Saint John’s Point is one of these places which has more to offer than what you first see. I thought that this place was just another rock beach area which is good for scuba diving for some reason but I discovered that there was more to this place than that.

To the right of the beach is where the action is. The land here is a bit more elevated and with the land collapsing in to the sea, it has formed some impressive cliffs. These are not very tall cliffs by any means but they are high enough to be impressive. What is interesting is that the cuts to the rocks are very straight, giving the impression that it is man made. It is actually due to the layers of rocks which formed over the millennia that made it possible for it to cut off so cleanly. I see this type of landscape is very common in this area and I would actually see more of it somewhere else.
