I was very happy that I chanced upon the Glen Pier where I got good looks at the nearby seascape and even of far away Skellig Island. While I was hoping I would get a nice sunset photo here I wasn’t holding my breath. Already, there were dark clouds coming and it might even rain. I think that was as good as it would get that day so I decided to call it a day. I still have to finish the rest of the Skellig Ring. There isn’t much left but I still need to go back to the Ring of Kerry so I can resume the way back to Killarney. It happened that there was one more place to see here before I leave – Saint Finian’s Bay.
It is nice and annoying that there would constantly be something nice to see just when you thought were you already done. It is always a pleasant surprise to get more than you bargained for but if you are in a hurry and yet you know you can’t just leave it, it can get annoying. Saint Finian’s Bay is my last stop in my tour of the Skellig Ring. It is little secluded bay which are small beach off to the left. It is a big rock to the right. By this time the weather has turned bad and it was raining. I just took my photos and ran back into the car. I probably didn’t do it justice but there is nothing I can do but run back into the car.
