This was my second time going around the Ring of Kerry. I won’t be going through every single spot here. From the tiny village of Sneem it wasn’t far to hit the coast. I was quite surprised because it seems much further the first time I traveled here. It is probably because I didn’t know what to expect that things would take longer to happen. I remember the first time I was on the Ring of Kerry I wasn’t that impressed initially since the road was all inland. I didn’t think that it was that nice since there was nothing to see. However, this all changed when the road started to hit the coast.
The road opens up the vast seascape that is of coastal Kerry. I was driving on the side of the coast so I can see everything as I drive. Fortunately, there are well placed stopping area where visitors can stop and take photos. The weather was not bad, but it wasn’t that great either. I was hoping for the clear skies which I saw in Sneem but it wasn’t the case here. The water had a nice blue green color but the sky was overcast, which was a shame since I seldom see the water like this. It was almost like a storm was brewing. Seeing this, I thought I should keep on moving else I get stuck in the middle of a storm.
