I was, unfortunately, not very satisfied with my dinner of lamb head. It turned out to be my own fault because I didn’t know how to eat it properly. I lost my appetite tasting all the lamb fat. I thought that I should just walk around and see if I get hungry again. Jemaa El-Fna is the largest square in Marrakesh medina. When the sun goes down. People of all sorts would come out and enjoy the night. You would have people eating here, selling their wares or just chilling. At the time of my visit, there was a Marrakesh International Film Festival so there was a large crowd near a giant outdoor screen.
Of course, a medina won’t be a medina if it doesn’t have shops. The medina is filled with all sorts of shops here and you could probably spends days going through each and every shop here, that is if you don’t get tired or get hassled to death by the people here. Of particular interest to me here are their lighting ornaments. I have seen these even outside Morocco and I think they are very beautiful. I was thinking to purchase one of these when I go back but I don’t know if I would have the space for that. I will need to go around and see what is nice here. This would probably take some time.
