I was happy with my visit to Two Medicine Lake. I only went to Paradise Point and, of course, the iconic viewpoint at Two Medicine Lake itself. There are a number of trailheads here but I only did Paradise Point which is the easiest one. There is also an interesting waterfall nearby in Running Eagle Falls and that was also a short hike as well. I decided to move on from Two Medicine Lake and continue on the Going to the Sun Road. From here, it was a mostly mountainous road as you make your way to Logan Pass which is the highest point on the road. I have been here previously but I didn’t get as good a weather as I have right now.
As I make my way to Logan Pass, the road climbs up the mountain and you will be greeted with magnificent scenery. There would be stopping areas along the way so there would be time to take photos. I just wish that the park management would mark iconic viewpoints so that people would be more aware of them. I was under the impression that every stopping area is an interesting place but a lot of times this is not the case. Along the way, I was presented with a magnificent view of the area. There is also a lake below. This lake is Lower Two Medicine Lake. This is a different lake from Two Medicine Lake and it is slightly larger. Looking at the map, I thought the road would run right past the lake but apparently the road is high above the lake. It gives you a great view of the surrounding mountains as well as Lower Tow Medicine Lake itself.
