I was following a trail which brings visitors to some historic sites in Lisbon and I finally ran into the Lisbon Cathedral. It was a massive structure which was surprisingly old dating back to the 12 century. It was a literally cool place since it was so warm outside, I spent a few more minutes just hiding from the sun. However, it seems that the sun would be out the whole day, so I needed to continue my tour. Fortunately, the streets of Lisbon are narrow and it was a bit easier to hide from the sun. I eventually came across a clearing where there seemed to be a lot of people, tourists, specifically.
Miradouro de Santa Luzia is a convenient little observation deck on the in Lisbon which gives you a nice viewpoint of Lisbon. It seemed that this place is close to the sea and it can be seen from this spot. As you might expect, there were a lot of houses built here hoping to catch some of that view. There was a small refreshment area where people can take a break from the hot sun and just chill out. I thought it was a nice place but I couldn’t find at seat here. I only bought myself some water and moved on.
