The city center of Lisbon is packed with interesting sights. Unfortunately, it was still a bit early and a lot of the shops were still closed. I thought that it would be better to first explore places which I know would be open sure as the churches and nearby historical structures. I didn’t have a real plan in mind so I was just following what people suggest online. I decided that the next stop would be Lisbon Cathedral. I was thinking of taking the tram to the cathedral but it turns out that the trams were packed most of the time. As a result, I needed to walk to the cathedral.
On top of not knowing that the trams were packed, I didn’t know that Lisbon would be so hilly. If one is exploring on foot, there would be a lot of climbing to be done here. Most especially if you are visiting the area near the Lisbon Cathedral. The cathedral happens to be near the tram line but it was almost impossible to catch a ride on the tram. Additionally, a car is not that practical either since parking is a precious commodity. There would be a lot of people walking around so getting lost should not be a problem. After a bit of walking, I finally reach the Lisbon Cathedral.
