By this time, we were already picking up the pace in exploring this surprisingly vast area of Portugal. The Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais stretches from the Sintra hill to the Atlantic Ocean. I welcome this change of scenery so we won’t just be seeing historical structures but also natural wonders as well. It seems that the Atlantic side of Portugal has very beautiful cliff side scenery. It would have been worth to hire a car just to explore all these places. Just looking at the map, it seems that that the part of the country is littered with them.
From Azenhas do Mar, were were brought to yet another cliff side. This time there are far more people here than the previous spot. It seems that this place is a popular spot. Cabo da Roca is dubbed the westernmost point of the European continent. Some people like this kind of thing but for me it is just nice to know. What is important is if there is anything nice to see here. I would like to thing that would be the case, seeing as to how many buses are parked out here. I think this is a rather special place and with the weather being great as it is right now, I think I would be able to get some nice shots.
