I stayed overnight at the city of Toulouse which seemed to be a convenient location for me to explore the surrounding area. I have a couple of nights here in Toulouse so I thought I could take it easy and just relax instead of rushing from one place to another. I can’t do that anyway since the days are shorter in the winter. I think I like it better this way, since it gives me time to appreciate the places more and, of course, I get to rest more. The hotel was nearby the train station, so it would be easy for me to travel via trains.
The next day, I left early as I would be going to the nearby city of Albi. I don’t really know much about this place but it was named a UNESCO World Heritage site so I think it must be important. The morning wasn’t that good as it was raining. I was hoping that it would get better the further away I move from Toulouse. This didn’t seem to be the case. I have the whole day allocated to Albi so hopefully, I would be able to get a bit of slightly better weather while I’m there.
