When I was researching where I should visit when I’m in the southern France, I was only considering which UNESCO World Heritage Sites were there for the picking. Lyon is actually a good start since the city is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are various aspects of the city which need to be seen to be able to appreciate its UNESCO World Heritage site status. That would have to come the next day. I just arrived in the city of Lyon and it was already dark in the afternoon since it was winter. So what do you do here when it is dark? Eat of course.

I didn’t know what the city of Lyon is famous for its cuisine. Lyonnaise cuisine is known in France was the best. Indeed there are a lot of find restaurants here it. Imagine how bad I felt when I found out that Lyon was known for its food and that I only have two nights here. There are numerous kinds of food to try here it was a shame to only spend a couple of days here. Even after only arriving in the city, I decided that I would be back here if only for food I didn’t get to try the first time around.
