I actually entered Poland through Warsaw Chopin Airport, but for some reason, I never got to take photos of the airport until I was leaving Poland. The structure appears to be well built and quite spacious. A bus from the Old Town of Warsaw takes visitors directly to the airport which makes it very convenient for tourists. It seemed that I arrived a bit too early for my flight. The airline counter was nowhere to be seen and all I have was a sign where it could possibly open. I was hoping that there won’t be a lot of passengers going my way so I won’t have to worry about seat mates.
Being the capital city, Poland has visitors from all over Europe and the world but it was good that the terminal building was large enough that it didn’t feel crowded like some terminals can be. The terminal was well signposted and it was easy to find places. Eventually the airline counter opened and I was finally able to leave my backpack behind. I didn’t really had a lot of stuff in the backpack but I was still glad I don’t have to carry it everywhere. There wasn’t an immigration to speak of here since Poland is a Schengen country. This is a huge convenience for people who live here and it encourages tourism among the member countries too.
