Malbork Castle is the largest brick building in Europe. This is easy to believe, seeing how far one needs to walk to go around the castle. The inner walls of the calls also go around the main castle building. At the same time, it provides a good vantage point to see the castle itself. Apart from going in the castle itself, this is probably the best way to explore the castle grounds. Seeing how large the castle actually is, it is difficult to take a proper photo of the place. Perhaps drone photo would be better in this case. Alas, I do not own a drone so I would just make do with my wide angle lens.
I came to a point which seems to be a like a corner of the castle. This way I was able to see two sides of the castle. I thought this was the best spot to take a photo of the castle. You can see a lot here. The green grass where the moat was supposed to be also helps. Oh, there weren’t a lot of tourists here so I free to take as much as I wanted to. It is a pity that I didn’t get to know what I was seeing since the castle was closed because of a public holiday. I thought I would just complete going around the castle and just make my way back.
