It was yet another day of exploring for me. This time I will be going out of town. The destination for the day is a place called Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. I asked the guy at the apartment about visiting this place and he gave me a strange look. It seems that this place isn’t a place where tourists usually go to. It is a religious place and he visited the place when he was young and that was it. I was having doubts about visiting this place too but it is a UNESCO World heritage site so maybe I would be able to see something here.
That morning I went the Krakow train station. There is a bus station beside it and there is a bus which passes by the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. The bus was easy to identify since it has sign for Kalwaria. The bus is actually on the way to Wadowice which is another town I want to visit if I have the time. The driver didn’t speak much English but I made my intention clear and he knew to drop me off at Kalwaria. Turns out, I didn’t need any help from the driver. There was a major bus stop at the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and there was no missing it. What I didn’t know was that I would have to walk the rest of the way. I didn’t really know what to expect here but I started walking towards Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.
