I finally reached the village of Kwiatoń, not too far from Brunary. I looked at the map and I was surprised to see how close this was to the Slovakia border. It is very tempting to want to visit another country when it is so close but I won’t have time for a detour. I also found out that the Slovakia side of the border also has several UNESCO World Heritage sites which are in common with the ones in Poland. It is not that surprising since the place has very close ties with each other especially with an almost non-existent border.

The village of Kwiatoń is host to another tserkva which is part of the UNESCO list. Immediately, visitors will notice how much more attractive this tserkva is. The wood seems to be in better shape and the color gives it a very attractive shade of brown. I’m sure that in a clear day it would look even better. Saint Paraskevi Church as the tserkva is known, has the characteristic bulbous towers which tserkvas usually have. There is a tower for each section of the tserkva with the tallest one at the end of the church where the altar would be.
