Before embarking on this grand tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites, I looked at the map to study the proper way of visiting these sites. Since the sites were far apart even with a car, I needed to make sure I would be going by the optimal path. I had to drop places where I have deemed out of the way to visit. Perhaps it would be for another visit another time. I was trying to go to the furthest place and slowly make my way back to Krakow. It would take a lot of time since the roads in between the villages are not exactly highways.
My next destination would be the village of Haczów. Getting to Haczów took around thirty minutes. It really feels different when you are driving in an unfamiliar country. I’m just glad that it was still bright outside and that my satnav was still working. I have European data roaming to thank for that. My next target would be a church with an unwieldy name of the Church of the Assumption of Holy Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel. I think the ones who were giving the name to the church were getting a little too greedy. Anyway, I was entering the town of Haczów which was much busier than Blizne. It seems that the church won’t be that easy to find given that they don’t have signs.
