It was already past lunch and I quickly got a bite to eat. I wasn’t intending to have lunch at the Wieliczka Salt Mine but wasn’t sure what time I would be able to get back to Krakow. The good thing was that my schedule is flexible and this time I actually put enough time for me to go from place to place. This day will only be for Wieliczka, I still have several days ahead for touring so I decided to take it a little slow this time around. Having said that, I was already done eating and I wanted to head back. I continued on to the rest of the tourist route and hopefully the exit.
It was then I passed through the Warszawa Chamber which is another vast chamber carved out of the mine. This one seems longer than taller compared to the other chambers. This place makes it convenient to hold events like concerts, banquets, ballroom, conferences and whatever even you might want to take underground. I think it is a very unique concept and it would be seldom that you get a chance to organize something like this. There were chandeliers in the chamber as well. I think it won’t be difficult to imagine having a wedding banquet here.
