It wasn’t exactly the best of starts for a trip. It was cold and rainy. I almost didn’t feel like going out to take photos since the lens would have become wet from the rain anyway. I was thinking I would just find a place to eat and then just kick back at the apartment, after all, this is a vacation. That is probably one of the things I don’t do very well when I go on trips. I tend to try to cover a lot of places which I want to see but end up tired all the time because of all the traveling I do. I think I would be able to control that a little better this time.
I decided to head back to the old town of Warsaw where I was staying for the night. Just like the rest of Warsaw, the buildings here in the old town were all lit up. I like how Europe preserves their own city centers which I probably very different from Asian cities where everything is bulldozed in the name of progress. The Market Square is especially pretty with the lights around the square. It is obvious that the lights come from restaurants around the square. I was already getting hungry and was looking for a place to eat but the Market Square is probably the most expensive place to have dinner in the old town. I took a few photos of the square and started checking out the menus.
