The Slea Head Drive is the best way to explore the Dingle Peninsula. It is a very convenient route which goes around most of the peninsula allowing you to see the sight which this place has to offer. Along the way, there will be stopping points which let visitor take in the sights. I think this is very thoughtful of them. This also allows visitors who didn’t know what to do here know what there is to be seen here. I was probably halfway through my exploration of the Slea Head Drive and I came upon at crucifixion scene along the road. The road also has a convenient parking area to allow visitors to observe the scenery around here.
The stopover area is located at a sharp turn of the Slea Head Drive. This gives visitor a very wide angle view of the surrounding area. It was a beautiful day and there blue sky is just perfect. The nearby islands are also very green which makes for a very nice photo. For a change, the wind isn’t strong so you can really appreciate the beauty of the place. Most people would be stopping here and taking photos of the statues and of the scenery then move on. I would be doing the same thing as I need to keep moving.
