Looking into the Atlantic Ocean
The scenery at the Ring of Kerry seemed to get better and better. I was originally bored that the famed tourist route was all hype. However, it seemed to be one stopover after another which let to one beautiful view after another. I was just finished with the beach when there was another stopover which will definitely make you want to drop your car. I like how they organized the route and that it seemed they already figured out where the best spots are. They weren’t even marked in the map but a sign pointing to a carpark along the road is a sure sign that something special is coming up.
Islands in the Horizon at the Ring of Kerry
There is no missing these viewpoints as there would be definitely more than one vehicle parked here. What is nice about this route is that the area is so vast that there can’t be too many people here. There would be the tourist bus but there were more cars than buses here. This route was really designed to be self drive and it is a real treat to discover these places. You can really see from the people visiting. They were all smiles and people were just looking at each other smiling as other drivers pull up and discover the beautiful scenery.
