I was getting ready to get in to the car after exploring Cahir castle when I noticed a photo of another sight. It was called the Swiss Cottage and it seemed to be a very attractive place. Part of me was screaming how it was just a tourist trap but I really liked how it looked and I was hoping to see it in person since it was said to be not that far away. So I set off in search of this Swiss Cottage. There was a nice shaded walk from the car park to the cottage. I thought it was actually much further than I expected but I still have time.
The path passed through a bit of forest before opening up to where a river runs beside. There were quite a few people walking on the path so I knew I wasn’t lost. There was no way to get lost here since there is only one way to go. I came upon the river crossing which I thought was a stunning location. There sky was blue and it just made for a great photo. It seems that people come here for biking as well as for fishing. It would be a very nice activity but I don’t live here. It seems that I have arrived but I still can’t see the cottage. I think I need to take a look around.
