Cahir Castle
I didn’t book any accomodation in Cashel town much as I liked the town but I think it was time for me to move on to the next town. I’m actually trying to make my way all the way down to Cork city but it will be evening before I get there. I think I have plenty of time as it was still mid afternoon. I planned to pass by another town along the way. My ultimate destination is Cork so I thought it would be good to hurry up.
Stone Bridge at Cahir Castle
I liked the roads here in the south since they are much bigger than what I am used to. The motorways here make for very quick travel from one place to another. Fortunately, there was a motorway from Cashel to Cork, so I don’t expect to have a lot of trouble getting there. The next major town would be Cahir and it seems it is also a touristy town. They also have an impressive castle here along with a few other sights, so I thought it would be worth the visit. The way to Cahir was well signposted I didn’t really need the satnav to tell me where to go.
