Farming Tool at the Bunratty Folk Park
I was going around the Bunratty Folk Park to see what they have here. I was approaching the Bunratty House which seems to be a mansion here in the grounds of the folk park. But before that, I arrived at a rather curious structure. It didn’t look anything like the farmhouses nor the castle. It seems to be a relatively modern structure. I wasn’t sure whether it was actually part of the park. One could easily mistake it for a private part of the park. If it was private, I reasoned, then they would have cordoned this part of the part from visitors.
Talbot Collection at the Bunratty Folk Park
Upon closer inspection, there seems to be a yard of some sort. The yard has stuff on display. I wasn’t sure what they were but I suspected they were farming implements. I think I recognize a plow, actually several forms of the plow here. This place seems to be an exhibit of the farming tools of that age. They seemed to be relatively recent tools but there was little information about them. There were a few photos here but no descriptions. Anyway, I didn’t really linger since I still wasn’t sure if this place was open to the public. I was the only one around here as visitors might have also shied away from this place.
