There was still time for exploration of the castle. The castle apparently has a lot of room which I thought was primarily taken up by the Great Hall. I have already seen some of the private areas of the castle and they seem to be like they were just left there. The re-creation of the rooms to how they did back then was very impressive. The bedrooms were accessible only to a certain point, probably to make sure no one jumps on the bed or plays with the centuries old furniture. One thing that is lacking here in the castle are windows. Some of the bedrooms were downright dark and could probably only be lit by an indoor lamp.
I can’t really see how this place would be a comfortable place to live in seeing as to how dark and cramped some parts of the castle are. There were also private rooms that looked like dining areas. There were also rooms which seem to be more for storage. They are all located in various parts of the castle and can be accessed by the stairs around the castle. There were times that I would run into people coming up the stairs because they or I was going the wrong way. The stairs were that narrow that if this happened, one would have to backtrack to let the other through.
