It seems that this will be our time to explore the city center of Brussels. I find myself not being able to see the city where I usually stay at because I was always in a different part of the country. Thankfully, this is possible to do in Belgium since it is not really a big country. Additionally, it is also good that Belgium has very good railway system. We just came from visiting what is Brussels most well known landmark, the Manneken Pis and we are still to visit a few which are apparently quite well known. I don’t know much about Brussels or Belgium for that matter but that what we were here for.
We walked past the Grand Place and ended in what seemed to be a shopping area. I wasn’t really keen on shopping here but it was difficult to avoid since practically the entire city center is already turned into a shopping center. This one was a covered one, good because it was still drizzling and some dry indoor weather would be a nice change. I wasn’t sure what to expect here but I think this is also a major landmark in Brussels.
