I think we have seen most of when the Historic Town of Bruges has to offer. It is a very pretty town where most of the old town has been preserved. It is as if you were tranported back to the middle ages. You can still picture people walking around in medieval attire here since that is practically all that is missing. I guess we could do away with the cars in the town for an authentic experience. I have come to dislike cobblestone streets since they are inherently uneven and it makes for difficult walking. It does look pretty in the photos though.
We started to head out of the town, where we just retrace our steps back to the train station. It weren’t following the exact route back but it is the same direction back to the station. Turns out there are parts which have been developed further. There was a new-ish looking structure here which turned out to be the concert hall. As you might expect, performances are held here regularly. I didn’t really look in the building since the design of the building wasn’t really that inspiring. A lot of performance venues I know tend to be flashy and generally have very interesting design. They seem to have forgotten the note about that since this was quite boring.
