Chocolatier in Brussels
For years, I have just looked at photos of European cities and wondered when will I be able to visit these beautiful cities. I finally made that dream come true when I visited Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and Rome. I wasn’t a while until I got that chance again. It is not cheap to visit these places. This time, I am visiting the beautiful country of Belgium. Like other European cities, Brussels is a charming and beautiful city, at least parts of it still are. In this age of austerity, a lot of expenditures have been cut back and a lot of Brussels isn’t as nice as it could be. Fortunately, the city center is a major tourist attraction and there is no way they can cut expenses there.

Like a lot of European cities, Brussels has a beautiful city center. This is usually a maze of small streets with beautiful centuries old buildings lining the streets. I have read about the snack culture of Belgium and I have been looking forward to it a lot. Being a tourist attraction, it is thus not surprising to start to see signs of these snacks which have made it all over the world. When one thinks of Belgium, the snack that come to mind would be waffles, chocolate and beer. Okay, the last one is not a snack, but it is just as well known outside the country. I’m looking forward to try this.
