It was towards the end of the day and I would be going to my final stop here in New York. I like taking photographs of the cityscape of New York, but I have been having trouble finding a good vantage point to see the city. One of the better ones was at Brooklyn Park where you can take a photo of the city together with the Brooklyn Bridge for the signature New York City photo. I was looking at the map of New York trying to see where else would be a good spot and I discovered one. There seems to be a place called Hamilton Park and it has a good view of the city.
Now, there is no subway going to this park since it is outside New York City, in fact it is already in the state of New Jersey. I tried asking about at the bus station about this park and one guy lives in New Jersey but he doesn’t think that I would be able to see New York from there. Apparently, there is a more famous Hamilton Park in New Jersey but that is not the one I wanted. The Hamilton Park I was going to is near the Lincoln tunnel and there is a bus going there. I took note of the bus times and I got on a bus to go there.
