I was exploring one of the wings of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I didn’t really know where I was heading towards. I suppose the museum has a natural progression of galleries that one would naturally and up in another. The museum is living up to its name as one of the largest art museums in the world. I really believe it is worth visiting this museum to be able to see art from other parts of the worlds in different periods in time.
I suddenly found myself in an opening which is apparently at the center of the museum. This had the impression of being in a church. It has arches which lead to the other wings of the museum. You can also see the main lobby far below. Apart from the lobby there isn’t really much to see here but I guess this place is a good spot to take a break from all the beautiful art we have been seeing. The exhibits here are great but you can’t see too much of them in one go.
