Imperial Bedroom at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
I had the privilege of visiting several European cities a couple of years back. I was able to visit a few palaces and they were amazing. Naturally, a palace would be impressive since the emperor or king lives here. What is most impressive are the ceilings of these palaces. They have amazing painted ceilings. So many of them that you would get tired of seeing them. What does that have anything to do with the Metropolitan Museum of Art? Well they have a section for European Art.

I was surprised to see a royal bedroom here. I wasn’t sure if it was a replica or they borrowed it from Europe but it looks very much like the royal bedrooms that I saw in Europe. There were also other rooms which looked like they have been ripped out of a European castle. I thought it was very impressive that they were able to do something like this. Actually, this might be better since you won’t get tired of looking at this over and over compared to seeing a whole building of jawdropping beauty.
