It seems I got to Brooklyn Park a bit early since the sun was still out when I got there, but I guess that was the point. I had to wait two hours for the sun to go down so I could start my photo taking. I was loving the iconic New York cityscape together with the just as iconic Brooklyn Bridge. I was very happy to have found this spot. When I saw the photo online, I didn’t even know which bridge it was. I only had a look at the map to see which spot could possibly see the World Trade Center as well have a bridge in the foreground. It wasn’t really difficult to narrow it down.
The map also showed that the bridge is named the Brooklyn Bridge. I have heard of the Brookklyn Bridge but there was another bridge beside it named the George Washington Bridge so I wasn’t sure which one it actually was. Once you get to the spot it was easy enough to tell that the Brooklyn Bridge is the right one. It got dark very quickly, and there wasn’t any color left in the sky. I wrapped up my gear and started to head back to the subway station where I came from. I passed by a very old carousel which I understand has been there for quite a while. It has been sheltered inside a glass structure to protect it from the elements. It was an interesting piece of history there.
