While my exploration of New York City has been rather haphazardly done. I would like to think that there is method in the madness. While I don’t do a systematic street per street exploration, I was trying to filter the “more important” ones first and leave the others for a subsequent and hopefully future visit. My visit to the American Museum of Natural History was part of the plan. I was planning to visit another place after that which happens to be somewhat near the museum. I was traveling alone now so I don’t have to worry about my friend’s feet hurting from all the walking I do. I do miss my friend a lot though.
Anyway, I needed to a few blocks more from the museum to get to the place. Fortunately, I had my trusty GPS with me. I got a local sim for data only so I was able to use the internet. I think it is a godsend as it would have been difficult for me to figure out the many streets of New York. As I was walking around, I noticed that the area here seems to be a bit classier than normal. I think they call this the Upper West Side. The buildings here seem to be better maintained and I would assume that the people living here are more affluent. If I could afford to live here, I would probably pick this place.
