I don’t remember having been out the house in such a beautiful day as that day I was a the Ards Forest Park. Most of time, I would be longingly staring out the office window looking at how beautiful the day is. Looks like struck gold when I filed a week’s vacation on what is probably the sunniest week of the year. Okay, the previously day wasn’t exactly very nice but the average is quite good this week. I still feel a chill in the air but I was prepared for the weather. I would just think that at least it doesn’t get extremely hot here. I lived most of my life in the tropics and I used to think that living in the more temperate zones will be better. I think that is still the case but I just need a little bit of adjusting.
I was following the trail from the previous day and I can already see the secluded beach which I saw the previous day. This time, the sand was nice and bright. The waters were also a nice blue green in color. Best of all, there wasn’t anyone in the beach. I think I now understand why people would flock to tropical countries for beach was because it is not very nice to swim in these cold waters even in the summer. From this beach, I decided to head off to a different direction. I took a small path behind the beach hoping to find another way here. This time the path would bring me to the forest.
