I still had a couple of days off left and I didn’t have any real plans on where to go. The following day, was a beautiful day and the forecast said that it will be sunny all day long. It can’t get any better than that since sunny days are a rare commodity in Ireland. I decided to head back to the Ards Friary to try to get better photos of the scenery compared to the previous day which was gloomy. Towards the end of that visit, it was already drizzling quickly cutting short my visit. By this time, I already knew how to get back there but I made just by using my trusty satnav.
The forecast was holding true. It was a beautiful day for exploration and I think came to the right place for landscape photography. I naturally ended up at the Ards Friary which was a lot of parking space. I took a few shots there and I was very happy with the lighting. Why can’t it be like this all the time? Then again, if sunny days were very common in Ireland, I won’t be able to appreciate a beautiful day anymore. I guess that is one of the most important things I have learned from this stay. I hope the weather holds.
