With the slope going very gently upward, it was really quite surprising to see how high up we already were. Although the trail isn’t exactly a mountain trail, it is sufficiently high enough to see a lot. The Grand Causeway is far behind us now and we can hardly see the basalt columns from where we were. This spot however, gives us a good view of the immediate area. This area is Port Noffer. There isn’t really anything noteworthy here from the viewpoint since it is mostly rocks below. I suspect that a lot of those rocks have come from the very cliff face which we are walking on.
I don’t know why this is called a port since there don’t seem to be any docking facilities. Maybe it was a port before and was discontinued soon after. Port Noffer is another small bay which is right next to the Grand Causeway, unfortunately, it isn’t really as spectacular as the Grand Causeway. From the rocks near the shore, it transforms into sheets of green. It is really quite unfair how beautiful this area is.
