The coast of Antrim here in Northern Ireland has a nice list of places to see. We continued on our way from Dunluce Castle to the Giant’s Causeway, probably one of the most well known sites here in Northern Ireland. We left our place quite late in the morning by this time we were already famished. Upon arrival at the Giant’s Causeway, we asked around where would be a good place to eat. We were told that there were a few places here and one of the places that were suggested was the Causeway Hotel. It is only a short walk away from the visitor center so we thought we should give it a try.
I always thought that putting a hotel here might have been a bit strange but there are a few nice walks here and it might be worth to spend the night here after a long walk. We weren’t there for a long walk but we only stopped by for lunch. The dining area wasn’t very big. In fact, it felt more like a sitting room. Our food came quickly enough and I thought the food was a bit standard. It was neither good nor bad. I didn’t get to see the rooms here but in the sitting room we noticed a few Asians who were on tour. It really seems that this place is a very popular place. Not too bad considering it is not exactly very easy to get here. Okay, maybe from Belfast it would be easy.
