Any visit to Harvey’s Point won’t be complete without walking along the shores of the beautiful Lough Eske. I looked forward to visiting this lake which is probably why I suggested this place to begin with. Harvey’s Point occupies a very nice spot near the edge of the lake. You could probably get out of your room and go to the lake very quickly. Another hotel nearby wasn’t as close to the lake as this one although that seemed to be a little fancier. I think it would be wonderful to book a room here and wake up to this beautiful scenery. Small wonder why people come all the way here from Northern Ireland to spend a few nights here.
I used to be of the opinion that when you go on vacation, you need to go to a place where you can enjoy most of your time. This would mean go out at night and have fun shopping, eating or whatnot. However, there is no such thing as going out at night here. Here, it would be fun to put your feet up in front of the fireplace and read your favorite book. While I still don’t like the idea of going to a rough and wild part of the country for a vacation. I am now open to just spending a day or two in this place.
