After that wonderful European trip to one of the world’s most well known destinations. I got another chance to once more go explore the beautiful country of Ireland. County Donegal, where I was based in, is probably one of the most isolated counties in the country. There isn’t a lot of large roads here so not a lot of people come here. This seeming isolation from the rest of the country and lack of development, results in scenery which is one of the most beautiful in the country. The wild but beautiful countryside here in County Donegal is a pleasure to explore if you have a vehicle.
Well, this time I wasn’t driving but I managed to convince someone who would. We wouldn’t be traveling far, but our destination is probably one of the top destinations of the county. I was wondering why it took me that long to go there but I didn’t really want to travel that far. It is past the town of Donegal and the terrain becomes quite rough here. But before we get there, I realized that I haven’t had breakfast yet. My friends agreed that they were also hungry. There was this stop where probably everyone goes to. Tí Linn is a stop along our way. It has a souvenir shop and more importantly a cafe. I had a nice little scone and some hot chocolate, price is quite average. While the place itself is quite charming. They also provide tours to neighboring places but I think we would fine on our own.
