It was enjoyable while it lasted. I was fortunate enough to be able to afford to go on a European tour of three countries, not an in depth tour though but enough to whet my appetite. I was leaving Rome and it was time to go back home. My friends will stay one more day in Rome so they would probably have the chance to visit the Colosseum since it was closed when we first visited. As for me, I need to make my way to the airport. There is an airport train from the city center to the airport, all you need to do it go to the Roma Termini. There is a regular train for this so you probably don’t need to worry about missing a trip.
My bag was full of souvenirs from the trip but it was still manageable to carry. Fortunately, I didn’t really bring a lot of stuff for this trip for me to worry about weight. It was actually easy enough to get to the Roma Termini station from our apartment. I think we have traveled enough on the Rome metro that we were already familiar with it. As expected there were a lot of people there at the station but everyone is going to different places, it was a bit chaotic if you ask me.
