We were once again met with closed gates here in Rome. The Palatine Hill is also closed because of a public holiday. It is not surprising anymore since the Colossuem was also closed. It is too bad since the Palatine Hill is probably one of the most important places here in Rome. I wasn’t very sure what was inside the Palatine Hill, I was just hoping ignorance will be bliss in this case. There was a path which continues on to the rest of the complex. People were already walking along the path in their disappointed march along the Palatine Hill.

We then came across a small church which is along the path we were walking on. There was a nice brick wall to the left and I thought it was nice for photos. The church here isn’t very old though, the San Bonvatura al Palatino has a very simple facade. Unfortunately, due to the large number of visitors who were unable to enter the Palatine Hill, a lot of people ended up here. I suspect that this church isn’t visited very often that is until now. I think there are still other places to visit here, hopefully they would be places which we don’t need tickets to enter.
