Beef with Pine Nuts in Vinegar Sauce in Rome
After the papal audience, I found out that my friends also went to Saint Peter’s Basilica. I originally told them that we will just meet up wherever they decided to go. I was surprised they actually made it, they even told me that the popemobile was near where they were. That made thing doubly frustrating. Anyway, the event was over and Pope Francis was talking with his staff and everything started going back to normal. Fortunately, the event ended before it got really hot. It reminded us that it was actually time for lunch.
Delicious Dessert in Rome
It was a bit of an early lunch but we decided to go for it so we can keep on exploring the city. I really can’t remember where we found the restaurant but we just went in whatever we found to our liking. I got beef with pine nuts with some vinegar based sauce, it was actually very nice. The meat was cooked just right and it was very soft. My only regret was the there wasn’t enough of it. Fortunately, there was crusty bread to fill my stomach. I’m glad we went here since it help expose me to more non-pasta or pizza Italian dishes.
