Spiral Staircase Going Down the Vatican Museum
The Vatican Museums is one of the most important museums in the world. There were numerous priceless art that are on exhibit here. There were a lot of renaissance and baroque art from some of the most famous artists in history. Probably the fact that when I was a kid I already knew some of the works that were on display here attests to the quality of the exhibits here. Fortunately for me, the museum wasn’t as massive as the Louvre in Paris was. Just as I was also getting tired of seeing one masterpiece after another, then it was all over.
Outside the Vatican Museums
I think I should have spent a little bit more time in the museum though, it turns out that I missed quite a few important works here, unfortunately, I only found out long after I have come back from Italy. Exploring the museum isn’t very complex owing to the size of the museum itself. The interiors of the museum were very grand and lavish, which matches the majesty of the nearby Saint Peter’s Basilica. If you ever drop by Rome, make sure you get to visit the Vatican Museums at the Vatican City, if you are even a bit of an art lover, I’m sure you will love this.
