A Sphinx at the Louvre Museum
We were desperately looking for the exit at the massive Louvre Museum. We were at the Egyptian exhibit are of the Louvre since this was where the arrows were pointing to. There was no exit here but there exhibits here were very fascinating. There were sarcophagi and sphinxes. I wasn’t sure if there were supposed to be replicas of the originals in Egypt or altogether different pieces. I remember seeing the photo of a pharaoh as one of the “things to see” signs, we were here but I still had not idea which one it was. There were a few statues of pharaohs here and they seem to look quite similar to each other that I wasn’t sure which is which.

It didn’t really matter much since we were breezing through the entire exhibit. It was a real shame since there was so much to see in the museum. I don’t know if it is possible to come back to the museum repeatedly with one ticket but I also think it is ridiculous to expect that anyone would be able to see everything here in the museum within one day and remember any of it. The Louvre Museum is one of the best in the world, it is best not to let a chance to visit it go to waste.
