Beautiful Bedroom at the Grand Trianon at the Palace of Versailles
I really liked how pleasant the Grand Trianon was. Although you know that this is a small royal palace. It really doesn’t feel like one. It feels a lot like a mansion. If you have come from the chateau, you would probably feel a huge difference between the interiors of the chateau and the Grand Trianon. For one thing, there is much less gold here at the Grand Trianon than the chateau. Maybe this was intentional. After all, if you wake up in a room that is golden in color, I think life would be very stressful. The rooms here are much more humble but they are still worthy enough to house the king or his guests.
Bedroom at the Grant Trianon
It seems people would stay here at the Grand Trianon for some periods of time. There was a rather nice bedroom here. I assumed that this was the bedroom of one of the queens. Like the rest of the Grand Trianon, this room wasn’t really over the top. In fact, this was a room that I think I can live with. Perhaps the choice of color wasn’t very nice. The bed was at the furthest end and there are curtains around the bed. There is another set of curtains just beyond the bed much like a theater’s curtains. In front of the bed is a large area where the queen can entertain visitors. I thought it was a very pleasant room.
