My friends and I were probably done exploring part of Tarraco. I’m sure we missed a lot of the must see spots but I think if we have a bit more time, say a few days, we would be able to explore a lot of Tarragona. Part of me was feeling bad because there is a nice aqueduct just outside town but we don’t really know how to get there nor did we bother finding out how. we went down Casa Canals and head out to the main street just outside the building. We were surprised to see that that building was part of what appears to be walls. I’m not sure if these were really the main walls of Tarraco, but they really look convincing.
We headed back in and walked through the ancient town and ended up on the other side where another set of walls were found. Now, this one really looks like protective walls. And they look old. We didn’t really follow the walls to see the extent of the walls, but suffice to say that the walls seem very solid and have been kept in very good condition after all these years. You will notice that some parts of the walls have been patched up but all in all it is good.
