I had a very satisfying meal at the Piscados restaurant which is in the Plaça de la Font of Tarragona, Catalonia. The restaurant was located at this nice plaza where you can sit and relax and watch people go by. This is most probably not the most famous place there in Tarragona but there are enough people here to make it worth hanging out for. It seems that we ordered some dessert and we have to wait a while before it comes out. It is not really a problem as I like to sit back and enjoy the view. It just so happened that there was indeed something happening in the plaza.
There was a group of people at the center of the plaza very near where we were sitting. They all have a white shirt on, which made me believe that there is a performance here. On closer inspection, they all have a instrument with them. Mostly in the form of native percussion instruments. Then I realized what day it was. It was Easter Sunday. This is most probably something to do with that. I didn’t understand the performance at all, but they did have some kind of cheat sheet. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anyone there to tell me what was going on. Anyway, it was time for my dessert.
