We were done exploring the ruins of the Roman Amphitheater at Tarraco now known as Tarragona. However, this is not all there is to see in Tarraco as a lot of the ruins here at scattered all over the place. We hope to be able to visit some of them in this trip. The Roman Amphitheater a bit outside the city center of modern Tarragona, however, it is not really that far away. From the amphitheater is just a short walk before things get quite busy. From here you would see the first signs of mass tourism – a hotel. To top it off, there was a small train which ferries visitors from place to place. The train was quite tacky but it is probably enjoyable for children.
I happened to spot a small snack stand along the way. I quickly got a pack of ready made churros to share with my friends. They weren’t familiar with churros and I was probably the first to introduce this to them. The churros unfortunately, wasn’t freshly made, as I prefer them that way. This one seemed like it has already been there for quite a while. Surprisingly, my friends loved it. As for me, I didn’t like it at all. The churros weren’t even warm and the chocolate had already solidified. I would like to go find another place to have a proper churros.
