The good thing with Barcelona is that the metro system seems to be quite well connected. Most of the interesting places of Barcelona can be reached by this train system and it is perfect for tourists like us. There is a dedicated stop for Sagrada Familia, once you get out there is no mistaking where the massive church is. If you still can’t find the church, just follow the queue of people outside. The Sagrada Familia minor basilica is one of the most well known landmarks of Barcelona and even I have known about this place even before I dreamt of coming here.
There was a line which was going around the church. It was incredibly long, which is probably a good sign of how good this place is. We didn’t have any ticket yet so we were hoping we would be able to queue but we were told that they weren’t selling tickets for that day anymore. That was how many the people visiting this place were. It is possible to purchase tickets online, which would make it a less painful experience. However, you may still need to queue to get in the church itself. I think we will take our chance with purchasing online hopefully it would be easier. For now, we would be content to taking photos outside the church.
