Making My Way Out of the Old Town of Segovia

I think I have covered most of the major sights here in the Old Town of Segovia. I was very pleased to have arrived here before the bulk of the tourist crowd inevitably arrived. It was really a huge difference between that morning and now. The main square near the aqueduct is already crawling with people and of course the dreaded tour groups have already arrived. You can tell with the small flags and unopened umbrellas. Fortunately, I was already on my way out of the town and it didn’t really matter now how many there are. I still have more than an hour left before the train back to Madrid arrives. I really dislike this, I just wish that there was some way to buy tickets on the spot.

For now, I still have time to spare and I realized that there was one spot I didn’t get to visit. I didn’t notice that there was a part of the aqueduct which had stairs leading all the way to the top of the aqueduct. I think that would make for interesting photos. Unfortunately, there were already a lot of people on the top so I don’t think I would be able to have the view all to myself. I still pushed on, knowing that this shot would be worth it. I already climbed the other end of the aqueduct but somehow it didn’t occur to me to go to the other end.
